Uganda Visa Frequently Asked Questions
You will require a visa if you are not a citizen of Uganda and other exempt countries as pre-requisite before entering the country. Visas can be obtained at the embassy, on arrival or by applying online on web portal https://visas.immigration.go.ug. After the decision that will be notified through your email, you can then proceed with a printed e-visa confirmation to personalize your application at the embassy visa office or point of entry.
Single entry: US $ 50
Multiple entry visa 6-12 months: US $100
Multiple entry visa 12-24 moths: US $100
Multiple entry visa 24-36 months: US $100
East Africa Tourist visa (Kenya, Rwanda & Uganda) US $ 100
Visa working hours
Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 1 pm
Normal processing: 3 working days
Citizens of the following countries are visa exempt
Angola, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Burundi, Comoros, Cyprus, Eritrea, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Rwanda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Vanuatu, Zambia, Zimbabwe and holders of diplomatic or service passports issued to nationals of Italy and Namibia.
