The Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs visited the Uganda Embassy in Beijing between 4th-6th March 2018. Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga, Head of Mission welcomed and briefed the visiting delegation on the mandate of the Mission in promoting China-Uganda relations and the status of bilateral cooperation. The Committee also met representatives of the diaspora and exchanged views on a broad range of issues.
The Committee was led by Hon. Okori-Moe Janet Grace Akech and included Hon. Apollo Masika, Hon. Angella Fred and Hon. Hood Katuramu. The visit of the Parliamentary Committee is in line with their mandate to oversee the activities and programmes of Uganda Missions abroad.
